mountain jade backpackers exceeded our expectations during our family holiday in hokitika. the owners were friendly and gave us great suggestions on what to see and do. the room was comfortable with a lovely view, and the diy laundry was convenient. overall, a fantastic experience.

The facilities were well-maintained and clean. the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. the bathroom and shower rooms were in good condition. the location was central with parking available. the owners and their family were welcoming and friendly.

Legendary staff who went above and beyond to find and return a lost item. Free parking and a large social area with a big TV.
